Education Scholarship Support Project for Students in Doi Mae Salong

The Education Scholarship Support Project for Students in Doi Mae Salong, Chiang Rai Province aims to support children and youth from financially disadvantaged families by providing continued access to education, reducing the financial burden of educational expenses on their families, and encouraging them to pursue further education and develop their potential for a better future.

Project Objectives

To provide tuition and educational expense support to students from financially disadvantaged families in the Doi Mae Salong area.
To promote equal access to education and help reduce educational inequality in remote areas.
To encourage young people to stay motivated in their learning and continue developing their knowledge and skills.
To provide a strong foundation for young people to grow and become valuable contributors to society in the future.

Project Implementation

Phase 1 – Field Visit and Scholarship Distribution During the first phase of the project, the Foundation conducted a field visit to assess the needs of local students and provided educational scholarships to 9 students from 5 families , totaling THB 30,500 The Foundation also extended encouragement, care, and support to the children and their families in the remote community.

Phase 2 – Continued Scholarship Support

On April 26, 2026, the Foundation provided continued educational support by transferring THB 40,000 to help cover the students’ educational expenses.

Phase 3 – Scholarship Support Through the School

On September 30, 2026, the Foundation transferred THB 40,500 to the school’s bank account to support scholarships for students.

Joint Charitable Student Assistance Project

This project supports disadvantaged and low-income Chinese students who demonstrate good conduct and strong academic performance at schools across northern Thailand. The United Charity Foundation (ThaiUCF) provides educational scholarships to support and inspire students from disadvantaged backgrounds, helping them access educational opportunities, build confidence and determination, complete their education, and pursue their future goals. In addition, the project aims to contribute to the development of Chinese language education in northern Thailand, ensuring that Chinese students have access to Chinese language education while promoting the preservation and continuation of China’s rich cultural heritage.
