Strengthening Thai–Chinese Relations Through Social Activities

On August 18, 2026, the United Charity Foundation welcomed representatives from two organizations: the Wenzhou High Temperature Youth Association of Zhejiang Province and the Tongxinyuan Charity Foundation of Beijing. The visit provided an opportunity to explore and exchange knowledge and experiences in social welfare initiatives and community development in Chiang Mai Province.

Visit and Knowledge Exchange at the Northern Thailand Welfare Center for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, Chiang Mai Province

At 2:00 p.m., the delegation visited the Northern Thailand Welfare Center for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities in Chiang Mai Province, where they exchanged information and experiences regarding the center’s operations and the care provided to its beneficiaries.

The delegation also had the opportunity to watch performances and view various handicrafts and products made by the center’s beneficiaries, showcasing their abilities and vocational skills. On this occasion, the United Charity Foundation donated 20 portable neck fans to the center.

Visit and Knowledge Exchange at Baan Dek Boonthong Foundation, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province

At 4:30 p.m., the delegation visited Baan Dek Boonthong Foundation in Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province, where they received a warm welcome from the Foundation’s President. The delegation had the opportunity to exchange information and experiences regarding the Foundation’s work in child care and development.The visit also included traditional Thai dance and Lanna cultural performances by the children of the Foundation, which greatly impressed the visiting delegation.
